Our House, the collaborative venture of global chart-topping DJ’s Meduza and James Hype, was born from a shared vision to form an innovative event concept, one that promises audiences an unforgettable experience.
This upcoming show at DRUMSHEDS is the biggest Our House show to date and the London debut for the brand.
For logged in users, we’ve compiled a list below of the people who have committed to attending this event. If you'd like to be added to this list, please speak to either Alphajay or Max Playle in Discord.
Short answer is "unlikely" given the metal & concrete construction of the building making it the textbook definition of a faraday cage. However, DRUMSHEDS has partnered with the find-your-friends platform ‘Where You At’, an app that helps guests find their friends in venues with no phone signal or WiFi. Download the app HERE before you come to the venue. You will need to create an account and befriend anybody you wish to share your location with before the event.
Guard your privacy! Only share your location with people you trust.
This app extensively utilises Bluetooth technology to connect to other user's mobile phones, and dedicated infrastructure installed within the DRUMSHEDS venue. With this in mind, be aware of the effect it is likely to have on your phone's battery. Consider bringing a portable charger.
Please do not drive to the event! There is no car park for DRUMSHEDS, and there is no non-restrictive free carparks nearby.
The venue itself, alongside on-site food and beverage merchants do not accept cash payments. You must pay via card, or a virtual card service such as Apple Pay or Google Pay. If you're flying in from abroad to see the show, consider checking the exchange rate fees charged by your banking provider. For obvious reasons, everything will be charged in GBP.
Drumsheds operate an extensive PROHIBITED ITEMS list and you are NOT permitted to bring any of the following items into the venue:
Costume masks (Alphajay!), flags, banners, signs, inappropriate branded items and any other items which we consider to be unsafe or pose a risk to public safety and/or security, professional cameras and recording equipment, glowsticks, illegal substances; legal highs or any other psychoactive substances; food; any form of liquid (including drinks and perfume); chewing gum; bottles; weapons; ammunition; explosives; horns; whistles; drums; fireworks; or any other article which may be used as a weapon of missile, or which may, in their reasonable opinion, cause danger or disruption to visitors at the venue (regardless of whether or not such item is illegal or is carried for specific purposes).
Drumsheds reserve the right to confiscate any prohibited items. Anyone found in possession of such items will be refused admission, ejected from the venue and may also be liable for prosecution. No refunds will be given to customers who are refused admission due to possession of prohibited items.
We know that a lot of REAL HYPEFAM will try to bring them in anyway, but you should keep in mind that DRUMSHEDS reserve the right to refuse entry to anybody with a prohibited item.
No food can be brought into Drumsheds, but they have a wide selection of great food traders (including vegan and vegetarian options) and bars within the venue if you’re willing to spend half of your retirement fund (i.e. £13 for Gyros)...
Various bars can be found around the venue, not all of them serving draught beer. Here's a basic idea for drinks pricing (approximate, and subject to change since this information was last verified):
There are free tap water stations in the main halway where the bars are.
The previously mentioned football match between Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur has been rescheduled and will take place on the day following the event, Sunday 28 April. Please bare in mind that whilst this may ease congestion on public transport services on the Saturday, there's a good chance that nearby accommodation will be in high demand for the game the following day. You should consider pricing and availabilty and try to book in advance where possible.
There is also a football match taking place in Stratford between West Ham and Liverpool. Public transport routes between Stratford International (Network Rail/London Underground) and London Terminals (particularly London Euston) will be particularly busy, so we advise you leave plenty of time for your journey - particularly if you've got an Early Entry (pre-2pm) ticket.
Drumsheds operates a no re-entry policy. Once you have left the venue, re-admittance will not be permitted.
Drumsheds only accept a valid passport, foreign national ID cards, driving license or home office approved PASS hologram as identification and/or proof of age. If there is a name on your ticket, you must provide valid photographic ID to match this name. Please note that they cannot accept expired or out-of-date forms of ID. If you are not able to provide a valid and in-date form of ID, you may be refused entry on to the premises.
Drumsheds do not allow bags or rucksacks on site that are bigger than an A4 piece of paper (21cm x 30cm). If you bring a bag or rucksack larger than this to site you will not be permitted entry onto site with it. DRUMSHEDS have lockers on site that are available at a cost for smaller items and for storing personal items of clothing (coats, jackets). Please only bring essential items with you to the venue.
Drumsheds have a range of lockers available on site from £7.00 small (30cm x 30cm x 30cm) or £10.00 large (45cm x 30cm x 30cm which is large enough to fit 3-4 normal sized jackets). To secure one, you’ll need to pay a £10 deposit, which is refunded after the return of the key. If you leave the key in the locker, Drumsheds won’t refund you, so the key must be kept safe and returned to staff on the locker desk point. Lockers cannot be booked in advance.
Repordly, all refunds for lockers are returned by cash, rarther than card refund like you'd expect.
All toilets in DRUMSHEDS are portable toilets. They are all found on the ground floor, which is reportedly quite a treck from the different rooms.
If driving to accomodation to the event, please be aware that the nearby area is covered by the London ULEZ scheme. Because of this, if your vehicle is not ULEZ-complient, you may be liable to pay a £12.50 daily charge. If you're unsure, check your vehicle's ULEZ status on Transport for London's website.
DRUMSHEDS is not in the London Congestion Zone. However, if you drive in the London Congestion Zone at any time during your visit, you'll need to pay the £15.00 daily charge in addition to the ULEZ charge if applicable. For more information and to check whether your route enters the Congestion Zone, check out this page.
