We've done the research so you don't have to. Below, we've compiled the answers to questions frequently directed at the Staff Team of the Discord Server. These are here for informational purposes only. Note that we do not act on behalf of the venue in giving you this information. Any additional questions should be directed solely at the venue for consideration.

No!!! Magazine London is a cashless venue. All bars and the cloakroom will only accept card and contactless payment methods. For HYPEFAM travelling to the UK from abroad for the show, please consider additional fees imposed by your bank - as foreign currency conversion may incur additional charges.
Yes, Magazine has a cloakroom available at all music shows. The venue request that you arrive early to avoid queues.
Note that you can only put coats, jackets and small bags (A4 size or smaller) in the cloakroom.
All tickets will be checked and scanned on entry.
Searches are a condition of entry to protect your safety and that of other visitors. All persons entering the venue are also governed by the license conditions and are liable for searches by security staff.
Full body and bag searches will be conducted before entry is granted. Any refusal by the ticket holder to comply with such searches may result in refusal of admission and eviction from the venue without refund or compensation. You are entitled to refuse the search and leave the venue at any point.
Once you have left the venue, re-admittance will not be permitted.
Magazine London have a list of prohibited items, any of which you re not allowed to bring into (or use) at the venue:
- Illegal substances, legal highs or any other psychoactive substances.
- Food
- Any form of liquid (including drinks and perfume)
- Chewing gum
- Point-and-shoot cameras
- Bottles
- Firearms, knives, blades, or any other type of weapon or ammunition, or article which may be used as a weapon or missile
- Horns, whistles, drums, megaphones, amplification equipment, klaxons, air horns
- Fireworks, flares or smoke canisters
- Explosives
- Large bags
- High visibility tabards or similar
- Sponsorship, promotional or marketing material
- Marker pens, spray paint or any other similar items which may be used to mark infrastructure
- Costume masks
If you have specific reasons for brining prohibited items into the venue (for example, because you have a dietary or medical condition), please contact the venue prior to the event at info@magazinelondon.co.uk
Animals, with the exception of guide dogs, are not not permitted into the venue.
Magazine London do not allow bags or rucksacks on-site that are bigger than an A4 piece of paper (21cm x 30cm). If you bring a bag or rucksack larger than this to the site, you will not be permitted entry with it.
Magazine London have a cloakroom on-site that is available at a cost for smaller items and for storing personal items of clothing (coats, jackets, etc.)
Please bring only essential items with you to the venue.
If you loose something at Magazine London, drop the team an email on lostproperty@magazinelondon.co.uk with a clear description of your lost item. Make sure you quote James Hype Presents SYNC as the show in which you misplaced it.
The venue often deal with vast quantities of lost property requests, so please be patient whilst the team process your request.
Magazine London keeps lost and found items for three weeks. After this period, all lost property items are passed on to local charity shops.
Valuable items may be held for a longer period. Items such as passports, IDs, and mobile phones are security disposed of if not collected within the stated time frame of three weeks.
Magazine London denies all responsibility for any personal items lost on-site.
Challenge 25 is a UK-standard for age verification. If you are lucky enough to look under the age of 25, you may be asked to show identification to prove your age to be granted entry into the venue for all shows where age restrictions apply. This also applies at all bars if attempting to purchase alcohol.
Please note that the minimum age for attendance to the SYNC show is 18, which is also the legal minimum age to purchase alcohol in the UK.

Magazine London is a fully accessible venue.
There is level access to both Space 1 and 2, and an accessible platform lift to the mezzanine levels. Accessible parking is available and can be arranged with the event organiser. Magazine also have a dedicated Accessible toilet which can be opened on request, or via a Radar Scheme Key. There is a hearing loop in the venue, which can be activated on request.

Magazine London have a dedicated Welfare and Medical area on the ground floor. Please let a member of staff know if you feel unwell, and they can direct you to the Welfare and Medical area, regardless of the cause of your ill health.
Yes - however you must first inform the Magazine London team in advance on accessibility@magazinelondon.co.uk.
This applies when you have legitimate reason for bringing prohibited items into the venue, too.
Nearest Tube Station: North Greenwich (3 minute walk)
There are also multiple carparks nearby, as part of the Greenwich Peninsula.
